Letting out a loud yawn, she sat up in her bed. The beautifully soft covers fell around her form as she sat up, bringing a hand up to her head to rake her slender fingers through her flowing [hair colour] hair. She screwed her eyes shut, remembering the blazing emerald orbs from last night clearly. Those mesmerizing green eyes seemed to have imprinted themselves within her mind and the cold, feather-like kiss still burned her cheek.

What was all that? A dream?

She couldn't pin her thoughts on it. Everything seemed like a blur. Where had she seen eyes that were so mesmerizing? Where had she seen that messy blonde hair? Where had she felt that ice-like touch? Her mind seemed to wander to the figure of a person that lay in her head, but she could never make it out. It was like she knew who it was, but didn't at the same time. Everything was strange...

But she decided to just write it off as a peculiar dream.

She rose from the bed and dressed quickly. Without uttering a single word, she quickly smoothed her messy hair with her hand before hurrying out of the door. She could always make the bed later, yes? She rolled her shoulders, already padding down the stairs as a burning smell wafted into her nose.

As soon as she made it to the kitchen, her eyes fell on Arthur. He was stood at the counter, seemingly glaring down at a burnt plate of pancakes. She made no move to even laugh at him, simply setting for staring at the back of his head. Why did this feel so odd? Was something out of place? Arthur, check. Burnt food, check. Burnt countertops, check. Nope, nothing out of the ordinary.

"Arthur," she started, only for the Brit to turn around sharply, his emerald eyes widening in shock.

"O-Oh! [Y-Your Name]! I didn't expect you to be up so early--"

She took a sideways glance to the gold-rimmed clock that hung on the wall, ticking rhythmically. "Arthur. It's almost twelve."

Arthur's gaze followed hers, a sheepish look on his face. He stayed silent for a moment, his gaze drifting down to the floor. "Was it the food that woke you up?" He asked quietly. "I know that I cooked the bloody ingredients a tad more than I should of--"

At this point, [Your Name] couldn't hold in her giggles. "A 'tad' bit?" She repeated his words, already shoving the blonde out of the way and standing before the burnt mess that once could be called food ingredients. "You overdid it way too much, Artie. How much heat did you use? The whole sun?"

His pale cheeks slowly turned crimson, and his eyebrow started to twitch. "[Your Name], you're forgetting to use logic. The sun would burn up the entire-- Oh, never mind. Could you be a dear and hand me a clean cloth? I don't want all this ash to stain my kitchen."

Rolling her eyes, she handed him the item that he had requested, watching as he swiftly cleaned up his mess. [Your Name] quickly put his so-called 'food' in the bin, before taking two eggs out of the fridge and cracking them into a clean pan. In silence, [Your Name] cooked whilst Arthur attempted to clean up his mess. This wasn't exactly an unusual occurrence. Far from it, actually. This was completely normal.

Pretty soon, they'd finished. [Your Name] had placed two plates of egg and toast down on the table, but just as she was about to sit, Arthur pulled her chair out a little further. He beamed at her, gesturing for her to sit down. "Come on then, [Your Name]," he smiled. She playfully pushed him away, sitting. "Thanks," she giggled, leaning back on the wooden chair.

Arthur took his own seat from across the table, still grinning at her. As soon as she had started to eat, he pulled a bottle of red liquid from the cupboard. He poured himself a glass, but without offering any to his guest, he put the bottle back.

As soon as he lifted the glass to his lips, he heard a soft voice.

"What are you drinking, Artie?"

His eyes snapped open, connecting with her own [eye colour] orbs. "J-Just wine," he choked out. "British wine."

"Can I have some?" Her voice returned, accompanied with a sweet smile.

"Afraid not love," the Brit flashed her a lop-sided grin. "This stuff isn't good enough for your tastes."

"What's that supposed to mean!" She responded, pouting. "Why not Arthur?"

"This is wine for the men," he winked, causing her to giggle, face flushing red. "It's for the pirates and the gentleman."

"Fine," she had sighed, rolling her eyes playfully.

Arthur let out a string of chuckles, sipping the red liquid from the glass. It was thick and gooey, so basically, nothing like wine. But, at least she didn't realise that. Arthur's secret could stay a secret for a little longer.

Again, sorry that it is short and it sucks. This is kind of.... erm.... also a filler. I just don't want to use big time skips or anything. :icononionfranceplz: Sorry. I promise the next chapter will be better.
It's rushed because I was really pressed for time... *sigh*
